Clarissa O'Hanley
A memorial  service will be held Sept. 10 for Clarissa G. O'Hanley of Eugene, who died July  17 of heart failure. She was 56.
She was  born Jan. 4, 1949, in Boston to Robert and Clara McAllister Gwaltney. She  married Leonard O'Hanley in June 1976 in Alaska.
he held a  bachelor's degree in French literature from Boston University and a master's  degree in finance from the University of Oregon. She worked as chief of  accounting services for an Alaskan utility and as an accountant at the UO  Computing Center. She enjoyed traveling the world to learn languages and  cultures and was a lover of animals and nature. Her family will remember her as  "an adventurous, imaginative woman with an infectious zest for life" and "a  gleeful and perceptive sense of humor."
Survivors  include her daughter, Tara O'Hanley of Anchorage; two sisters, Elizabeth  Gwaltney of Portsmouth, N.H., and Gail Ring of Hampton, N.H.; and one grandson.
Saturday's  service will be at 2 p.m. at the United Protestant Church in Palmer, Alaska.  England's Memorial Chapel in Eugene is in charge of arrangements.
Memorial  contributions may be made to an account at Alaska USA Credit Union in Anchorage.
