Alex wrote the following to Theo in a recent email from Palo Alto:
I'm not certain I can make the reunion but I've certainly appreciated all the emails encouraging me to come.
In California since 1971, and have been in Palo Alto since 1974.  Our second child is finishing up her freshman year at UCLA; we've been wrestling with empty nest syndrome. Was actually just in Paris a week and a half ago; will be there again in early July.
Look forward to catching up with you, if not in Cambridge, in SF or Paris. If you're in the South Bay, give me a call: I teach economics at Santa Clara University.
